I am posting a nice set from of buckles for Erwin

The one on the right is original and a hard one to find. The one with the swastika is a fantasy buckle that never existed. There is a rare brass Stahlhelm with the Swastika. You should be able to find a old thread from David North that talks about the fantasy buckle. I remember seeing one of these sell for around $1000 but it is still bad.

Thanks for posting Paul and your reply klr. There is one of these buckles on page 122 of Angolia's "Belts Buckles of the Third Reich" 1st edition. I've owned this one for 35yrs +.

I was sure it was David that said these were fantasy buckles but I see he posted an example of this buckle on War Relics Forum. I will have to see if I can find more info on the buckle. Just because it is in Angolia’s book doesn’t mean it’s original. It is a good book but there are plenty of mistakes and bad buckles. Let’s see what others say on this buckle.

I found the old thread and it was Marc Verstraete that said these were post war. Sorry for saying it was David.
