    Panzer mudguards

    Hello All,

Does anyone know where I can buy the correct patterned diamond steel plate for the mudguards of a ww2 German Panzer, in other words for my pzll. I am sure that this has come up before but I can't find the thread.

    Thanks in advance,

    Jon

Jon, PM sent. I have used Robert Lewszyk in Poland in the past.

Pz.II had mudguards made from aluminium .

Good luck to find correct aluminium plates for this.

Not on the one in Bovington Tank Museum, but I would be happy with steel anyway.

Why do you think so? Looks as usual (alu).

                Evidently new-made (incorrect).

AFV super detail Vol.7, page 47 (Snegiri). You can see piece of mudguard that is not rusty (when all around is rusty).
You can check by magnet on 100% original Pz.II' mudguard.

No problem - we made steel front-right part in Kubinka.
No way to find correct alu plate.
