    Pak 43 bogie wheel

I got this PaK43 bogie wheel in Normandy. It can also suit the LeFH18/40.

I had to remove the brake drum which was installed post-war.
The axle was tinkered with safety pins on its end. The female part of the drum has been trephined to be welded ...

I now have to glue back the broken rubbers on the rim… Any help with the stuff to use is much appreciated !

The brake drum is german made by Thyssen ( see logo ) and people interested can contact me ! Diameter is 36cm. Original german black grease !

      Hello Eric,

Another heavy piece. I'll have a quick look next saturday.
I think those rubber bandage were hot welded to the wheel, just like the ones on panzer wheels.
Maybe the guys restoring Stug or Nashorn can help you on this topic.
