    Pz IV AUSF E

Pz IV AUSF E on display at the Cairns Tank Museum, QLD, Australia

Staff member said its a rebuild from original AUSF E parts, they state its the only know example of the "E " model Pz tank.

The other tank is another Pz IV (F ??) which was having engine troubles.

It also looks like they have a Czech OT-810 in panzer grey and with Balkenkreuz painted on. Possibly acquired from a film production company? BTW, thanks for posting the images of the Panzer IV E.

Thanks for the great photos of the Mk IV's. Looks like a good museum to visit when on the 'Down Under' tour. The museum did a decent job on the Mk IVe. Am not sure the tool box on the rear turret should be there ? That would be on the 'F' version. Looks like the tool box was on the firing range with those holes in it.

The long barrelled Mk IVf2 nice to see also. Believe Isreal has a couple of these captured from Syria many years ago. The kubelwagon looks cool, your right probably not wartime applied paint.

              Again thanks for the thread

              cheers

Kubinka' Brummbar was Pz.IV Ausf.E before it was rebuilt into Brummbar.
