Excellent thread, many thanks. It is satisfying to see that somewhere on the planet people recognize the value of these historic vehicles; the US Army really failed to preserve their incredible collection at the Aberdeen Proving Grounds.

I visited the museum in 1983 while it was under construction. Only the King Tiger and Jagdpanther were there, and I was able to crawl around inside them. No one was on site at the time.Comment
