A WAF member has a Tank Sprocket that he is trying to identify. He was informed that it came out of an area of a Tank battle in 1945 Germany against the Western Allies possibly belonging to a Mark IV. Can anyone identify it.

Not a IV - or indeed any other of the main German battle tanks as far as I can see. 17 teeth and 11 dual-bolt mounting tabs. Wrong number of teeth and can't see anything with the two bolts per tab mounting scheme. Also the colour suggests non-German.
Edit: I think it's from a post-war FV432 armoured personnel carrier.
