another PANTHER found in the Ukraine

    Hi

just read this that another Panther ...or at least some large chunks of it , was found in the Ukraine
the sprocket hub reveals it might be an ausf D.
I think its a partial chassis that has been decimated by scrapmen who just took the upper part and left the rest to sink further in the mud.

Yes you can definitely see the torch cut marks.
Will be interesting to see better photos.

Yes, the separated gearbox from the turret drive indicate too that it will be not a 100% complete tank....but the state of the parts shown indicates that what's left will be in perfect state!

Hopefully more pictures will make it to the web....

And it's definitely not a reuse of pictures from the excavation if the tank shown in Sinsheim today....

If the tank was in a state like the Saratov StuG was when it was found the price would be o.k. ...

Obviously the Panther' hull is broken.
Will be fine if there were enough parts to assemble it back, but usually not.

                sale site description

He was found underground and now he is out of the swamp ONLY PARTLY !!! dug. The tower is broken off and is next to the tank. Otherwise the panther is quite loud according to ultrasound examination. The tank is located in Ukraine and can be transported to DE on request. Currently there are only the pictures shown here. If necessary, the tank can be visited in Ukraine on site. Price is 3 million euros without transport to DE.

I guess they dont have 2-4000 EUR to cover the complete excavation, but dare to ask 3.000.000 for it

What is the legal status of that tank as far as ownership goes according to the Ukrainian law? Do they really legally own it?
Or it is like pay us 3 million then dig it out and deal with authorities yourself.

The status of a panzer, as well as in any country, all found military equipment belongs to the Ministry of Defence. Private sale of the found military equipment is illegal.

                        tank

and now the new law in Germany that doesnt allow anymore to have armoured lkw's or tanks you may forget it to bring this to Germany or it have to be a museum, it will be a great risk even to bring it to any other eu country
its a pitty coz it might be again something nice to have on shows
about price;they also knows the value of things ,they have also ebay usw
                        cheers

                          hi

the Original add was updated twice already ...unfortunately no new pics showing more of the Panther
But ….the same team also have found a Tiger and an Elefant......so for those who have some more small money littering the house ...this is your chance to get rid of it

It will probably go for more money in parts, not an easy task to get it out of Ukraine unless you have lots of friends and very deep pockets.
