    prohibitation for armoured fahrzeugen

    hallo,
i have heard in Germany they are bussy to make a law that says civilians are no longer alowed to have armoured trucks . I was also told if you are leaving Germany with a armoured truck they don't allow you anymore to come in again into Germany . can someone tell me is this correct or whats the latest about those rumors?
    thanks

    Hi,
it's not a plan - it is reality!

It is a new regulation with the War Weapon Control Law (Kriegswaffen Kontrollgesetz) It started in September 2018 and is active. If you have a motor vehicle, that is armored and fell under the war weapon law, you have to register it and ask for permission to own it. No matter it is deactivated cut armor, or not in driving condition.
You are not allowed to drive it or export it. Only on your own property. Storage is only allowed when you have a fence or a closed building around it. You are not allowed to let children under 18 acces to the vehicle. Every Armored vehicle, that is closed around the driver, and on the top of the driver fell under the war weapon law. If the police can simply shoot on the driver with normal ammunition, it is not under the law. Battle Tanks and Armored Self Propelled Howitzers are completly forbidden, you have to fill concrete into the engine compartment if you want to keep the. No driving allowed at all.

I dont know how it is exactly with importing or exporting. You should always ask the officials and without paper I would not do anything ...

ok christian, thanks for the confirmation,
as amatter its ridiculus coz we are only collectors and restorers i don't know why the german gouv made this law ? maybe soon it might become aeuropean law??
can you imagine how many people might be affectedby this coz there is also a huge amount of american vehicles in europe ….it looks like they just want to bother the ordinary person as usual pay your taks work and don't talk to much.I think that most of us are trying to save war time vehicles and try to enjoy its restoration, anyway we will see what will be the next step.cheers

This is scary for the collecting community. I would like to know who the German government scared of, is it the terrorists or sections of the German population?

It is EU law and regards every EU country. But the question is, how the single EO countries will follow it.
