    Unidentified camo box

    Hello,

    I have found this box last week at my village's flea market. I was told by someone on this forum that it could be a box that was installed inside armored vehicules.
    Any idea ?

    Thanks for your time.

        Apologies. The below message should have read;

        Nice find! This is indeed from an armoured vehicle. The photos show the example on the Panzer 2 Ausf L at Bovington.
        Any chance of some dimensions and more photos, (including the interior), please?

            Hi Gliderpilot,

            thanks for the extra photos and dimensions. For some reason, the photos I posted have disappeared, so here they are again.

              Identification

              Hello,

              Definitly the same kind of cases. I'll need to find out in which armoured vehicule it was placed. In only one kind or various ones ?

              Thanks for your help !!!

                Hi Gliderpilot,

                just about every German tank that had "periscope" vision blocks. These boxes held the spare glass for them. I've measured a similar box at 237 X 220 X 157, so slightly different from yours.

                Kind regards,

                Ian
