Identification of an insignia - period color picture

could someone help me to identify the insignia you can see on the side of the cabin ? This SdKfz 251 Ausf D is said belonging to the 11. Pz Div. ; fall 1944.

Sorry I cannot help, but nice picture. What I find interesting also is the car behind the halftrack. What are the tanks on the rear of the vehicle for, is that a wood-burning vehicle?

It's a gas generator.

Hard to see, but it kinda looks like the symbol for 361. Volksgrenadier-Division.
