A little over 7 in long, 2 in wide- I know the company made items related to the k98, as well as for the KM and the Panzer tanks. Any idea at all what it would have gone on or what it was for?

As far as I have been told it's a vet bring back, with the only pieces of the puzzle being that it was a vehicle plate, ripped off the inside of something.
