Halftrack Part ID

I have had in my collection for a couple of years now 2 of the parts shown in the attached pictures, I have been told these are SdKfz 251 steering dampers.

I have looked at all the pictures on the internet I could find and in all my books, but have been unable to find any pictures of this part. Can anyone confirm these are steering dampers and if possible supply a picture of them in situ.

I'm surprise it is 251 to be honest. I'm collecting part for mine and I dont really see this. I ll keep up.

Thanks for the reply. I did not think they were for a 251 either, but I thought I would ask to make sure. Will have to spread my search to other German half tracks to see if I can find a match.

I do not have a 251 to restore, but do collect parts and restore them when money allows me too. Working on a set of running wheels at the moment, the one's with the spacer.

251 Front Wheel Damper

I have been offered this damper and I need to know if it is for the SdKfz 251. If yes any idea of a price.

I have looked in my copy of the parts list, but it does not specify type. Also can not find a picture in my collection or on line.
