Completely FAKE Madder just sold for 250k - someone got screwed

This post-war Swedish chassis mocked up to cosmetically resemble a Marder just sold for an INSANE price.

I was offered it for 75k and I passed, as it is garbage.

Did he know it is totally fake or did he believe the information that was given?

The pictures from the inside is not perfect, but from what I can see I am 100% sure that it is a Swedish APC 301 (SII) with a longer chassis than the original Pz 38 T had.
No doubt - there are enough evidence on the inside.

These APC's were built in Sweden (at Scania factory) under licence 1944-45. They were built as Strv m/41. In late 1950's they were converted into APC and these APC's has been salvaged from Swedish ranges and exported by more or less dubious sellers to people who has rebuilt them and sold them on as "original" German WW II vehicles.

In SPR, one original Marder was used...as well as a complete Swede vehicle.

I "believe" the Swedish one was the vehicle that blew out the Sniper from the Tower in the last scene.

Sounds like its a typically "made up" Axis vehicle from the original Victory Museum at Aarlon in Belgium, via a Auburn, Indiana.

That's exactly what it is. In Arlon it was in a winter diorama.
