I dont know that i show the item on the right place.
This is a early type of Truck Triangle for use trucks with trailer. It was a must since 1938. All trucks must have this item, also by the wehrmacht.
It is probably a variant used in civilian road traffic. I do not know exactly. The fact is that I do not know this version.
Does anyone know what?

So to your piece - I have never seen one of that design, I have seen many variants but the one thing that the ones I have seen have in common is a black or open centre.

I know the yellow triangles of plastic. But this variant is also not known to me. I've already thought about whether it could come from the train. Something like a route signal or so ?? I dont know but it looks like a truck triangle.

I am sure that you are right that it comes from an LKW - perhaps the centre of it is missing.
