Hi

this is a typical bolt that goes into endconnectors of tracks like on the Sherman. I think yours is from a Sherman.
Modern day tanks that have this same type of assembled tracks have it too.

The connector keeps two tracks together...and the bolt locks the protruding pins of the trackslinks. The nut on the other end tightens the connections
