    Wehmacht vehicle part catalogues.

Hello, I want to ask about wehmacht vehicles part catalogues (tanks, halftracks, trucks, and cars). Which are the most detailed, have best quality, with many illiustrations, really worth getting. Which ones you would recommend? And where I can get them?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi oskaras,

Unfortunately there's no one stop shop for this kind of thing, either in reprints or original documents. Which makes your request too vague.
Most soft skinned vehicles (trucks, cars etc.), and some of the light armoured vehicles, have an Ersatzteilliste for the basic model and a subsequent Beladeplan for variants. Depending on the vehicle the parts list can be readily available. The Beladeplans generally don't break down the individual elements in great detail and tend to be far more difficult to obtain.
Most of the armoured vehicles, like tanks, do not have an Ersatzteilliste. Not that I've ever seen anyway. The list of manuals for any one vehicle can be quite extensive too, so if you're looking at one of the more popular tanks such as a Tiger I, you'd be better off investigating which of the published texts will suit your needs.
Honestly, settle in for the long haul because it will take a lot of searching, and money, if you're looking to be thorough.

    Cheers
    Allan

Thanks Allan. Of course original manuals are very rear, so I am looking for reprints.

        Hi oskaras,

This site is regularly expanding it's catalogue so it may have what you're after. I've never bought any of their reprints but I understand that they're decent quality.

Not exactly manuals but the Panzer Tracts-series might have some of the information you're after too: http://www.panzertracts.com/
