Best course of action for a Panzer EM tunic.

Hi everyone, I may be getting a lovely Panzer EM tunic within the next two months (selling like mad at the moment to afford it) and I was wondering what sort of equipment I should put on said tunic as I am setting it up as a torso mannequin. It's been suggested by a couple of friends to either set it up to represent a PAK crew member or a regular motorised infantry soldier. The tunic is an m40 with pink litzen (green centre) and shoulder boards and I am quite stuck on what I should do with it. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

why not look at wartime photos instead of asking opinions and make up your own mind

Because there is people who have way more knowledge than me. I'm still relatively new to collecting so I'd rather learn and do it right.

Sorry if that is an issue...

        Hi,
Just stick it on a body form or next thing after the equipment you will start sticking medals on it.

First you must see if it is a walking out one or a combat one, then which timeframe are you going to represent and then start filling the uniform.

For example, it is not the same to represent a Panzer soldier during a leave in Germany than the same soldier fighting in Russia two weeks before or after.

Show the tunic and also what are you looking for, walking out to display a lot of medals or combat to show equipment?

          Hope it helps

What I've done with my EM HBT panzer tunic was put a belt on him along with the throat mic & headphone set. Very simple & presentable display.

I've personally always been a fan of just putting the tunic on a nice body form and leaving it as is... at most I might put a belt. I just feel that burdening tunics with too much equipment could be damaging in the long run; but I could be alone in that thinking.
