50 Artillery Flak Pak 3,7 Barrels

    Hi Guys
Have seen arround 50 Pak36 barrel near my hometown in the barn of a farmer.
I can bought all but my problem is: I do not know, how these barrel are made useless.
The farmer used them as fence posts. Some are not in best condition with welded metal for the wire and a little bit rosty. Otherones are in better condition.
What is the value for each original barrel. Perhaps it is also better I leave the fingers from this pieces.

Iam not sure about Pak36. The lenght of the 3,7cm barrel are around 22oo mm. The maker company was dürkopp.

    Best Andi

    thanks for information.

Oh, I think to change in a not working condition, is too complicated for me. So I will not buy the posts. Here some images. The dimensions: 2100mm long.
Outside diameter at the tick side is 100mm . Thin side is 60mm.
Iam thinking is for the "GERÄT 338 "

Yes that's right. Too expensive with much problems. Nevertheless, it is interesting to see how inexperienced people use these things.

                Why demil?

The farmer has been using them since the war without doing so.k

A fact that is of no interest for the German law enforcment ... the barrels are defined as weapons of war due to the fact they were made as these and have to be demilled according to the regulations to be owned legally ... so the should not apear in public" before beeing cut and welded (....) without that they will be seized as soon as somebody official takes notice...

You can discuss it as likely, but thats the fact of present regulation ...

                        Hi Jens,
thank you very much for closeup the regulation of Kriegswaffenkotrollgesetz in Germany. Its illegal to trade not demil condition material like this. Law offence be punished very high in Germany.

its not a Pak 36 / 37mm barrel because those didn't have a muzzle brake ...your barrel has tread to put an MB on

I compared it with a flak 37mm barrel and that doens't match either ....completely different tread on both sides

                          whats the inner diameter?
were have you read "Dürkopp "on that barrel ?
its very unusual that a makers name is written in full .....German war time stuff was marked with short letter codes
                          cheers

This is for the GERÄT 338 - Flak 43. No of course, there is not the full name Dürkopp marked.
Some numbers and codes are visible. I know that these parts come from the Dürkoppwerk because I know the history or rather the origin exactly. All parts were before the allied troops arrived us by private people organized. At the dürkopp rail station were wagons which were loaded and from these came these things.
