In 2003, we found Shermans, an Italian Tankette, a British WW1 artillery piece dated 1918 (IIRC), and a US M2 machinegun dated 1944. In 2004, we found an MG42. Lots of WW2 stuff over there.

Holy crap. An STG 44? Amazing. Guess the lesson here is that these guns and weapons are designed to kill no matter the Era. They are still being used for that purpose.

The Arabs and Israelis used lots of ww2 gear, allied and axis, for decades, Israel heavily modified their tanks however I don't think the Arabs were big on mods.
