Hi all. Does this look original? The eagle's head and the swaz seem a bit odd to me. Thanks for any help.

Hi Bob, they are fake and I believe made in the USA. You are correct to question the dis-jointed swastika

Thanks! Sadly, it's sewn on a piece of cloth complete with a seam like a M43 cap.

Hi Bob, this trick of sewing fake insignia onto cloth is getting very widespread. I know that you like cut off insignia But it is an easy way for the fakers to hide the backs of fake badges (which tend to be incorrect in construction) and it also makes the badge more desirable to collectors.
