    Goliath Brest 1944

Just discovered again this Goliath photographed in Brest in august 1944. From the pic It seems to be still live and that the gremans destroy this stone wall th hide the little tank.

It seems to be in an ambush position but it must have been abandoned. You can see engineering tape around it so it must be in the process of being cleared by EOD. However, its sort of an odd location, seems to be in a streambed? The picture may be a training aid or an official Army photo showing the enemy techniques of employing these things. Great photo. Brittany is a very rainy country and in august/september some roads are like streambed.
Normally the little wall may have been straight and the german created this zone to wait the GI
Just have a look at the end of this page you'll find the same Goliath before being deactivated
