I have this nice pictured frame for some time in my collection.

But I don't know nothing about it and would like to get an insight to the kompanie and the men behind this picture.

The picture is signed by " Atelier Hanke" What are your opinions ?

Hello Jim,

can't say much but a short googeling shows that there was a photo atelier
in Zagan (Poland) and the owner/photographer was Mr. Erich Hanke
"Erich Hanke, Photographisches Atelier, Sagan, Boberstraße" in the
beginning of 19th century. With google you can find also some postcards
made by this studio.

If you're wanting details on the studio you should try posting this in the photo's section of the forum. I bet you'd get a lot of interest in an awesome picture like this!

I personally love it! These guys sure seemed bright eyed and hopeful at this stage of the war.
