I don't know anything about gas cans but those do look interesting. I'm surprised to learn that some were specific to the SS. I'd have thought they would be a generic type item.

Why do you wish to obtain 22?

          Regards,
          Stu

Amazing amount of SS version "Jerry cans"!
All "Sandrik" marked as they should be. These are even being faked..probably because they are so hard to find
            (since you own them all!)

As already noted, Sandrik were the only company to make them for the SS. The pressings were still around after the war and so there are many, many fakes. They fetch over £150 sterling nowadays.

                  22

22 is my favourite number....and yes a lot of fakes there is, but they can be recognised by colour and so on..this ones are originals, but still 10 pieces is missing and price depends on condition, no holes and usefull around 100 - 300 euro

So pricing on original Sandrik cans has not increased so much it seems.

Below are my cans, and a note from the fellow they came from in Northern Italy.

                    Ciao,
BINGO ! I have the second SS Kanister in my hands !!!!! I was really worry to can't mantein my words with you. Now, all is fine, two perfect original Kanister Waffen SS in original color green apple (as all them). Belive me, this is really an unbeliveble shot !!!!!!!!
The second one comes from our mountains (Ghotic Line 1944 Bologna-Modena) and the only one Waffen SS Division present here during all the war was the "16° Panzer Grandadieren Reichfuehrer SS".

Keep it like gold because now you know the story from it and its "old owners" !
This will come in Canada for its last travel (we hope) not alone for its crying, but with its sister (who knows comes from where). Surely the souls of these 2 kanisters will speak together.

Sorry for this that can seem stupid, but I belive really to the soul of the things overall when these looked and lived terrible experiences ! I am happy to give you a couple of these SS kanisters, belive me it is really hard to find them in these conditions and together !

This is the "16° Panzer Grandadieren Reichfuehrer SS" Can

                    Second Can...

                        Fake Sandrik

A really bad fake Sandrik on ebay.de or maybe it's the really rare 5 litre version. :-)

I wonder how much this will sell for? 8 days left in the suction and already 5 bids!

                        Link to the auction here

                          ha ha ha !
Remove the paint and you will find the welds !
No 5 liter jerrycan was during WW2. It's only Bundeswehr stuff.
