    panzer IV tank blueprints?

im new here, i sure hope im in the right place

im a 3d modeler, and im interested in modeling German WW2 war equipment, a short barreled panzer 4 at the moment, and i need some prints such as side, top, front, u know the usual 3-aspect pictures.

it would be a great help if someone could point me in the right direction, preferably high-resolution prints.

    thanks

Try here for some hard facts: http://www.achtungpanzer.com/panzer.htm

Are you doing 3D work ? Here is a Tiger 2 i have worked on for a while.

    Cheers.

thats an amazing model peter, are you using 3DS MAX for that?

im afraid i havn't got as much experience as you obviously do, but heres a simple tiger tank i modeled this morning, just for the humour to compare it to yours

Havn't read the Horseclans novels in awhile. I will have to revisit them!

Yes i use 3DS Max. Have used it from version 2.5 and now we have version 7.
Nice Tiger1 you have there. Work out some more details. Use the "cut tool" to create more geometry to work with and extrude. The most important is to get the mainshape right and you got that. Good textures can do the rest.

                Cheers.

peter, ive tried using those blueprints, but they are too low-resolution, hard to work from. do you know of any other blueprints for a short-barreled panzer IV??

                      Peter

Nice to see you involved still with the Tiger II. Looking forward to see some new pictures one day.
I am working now on a StuG IV which is getting closer to completion. Hope you like it:

Somtimes one has to paint a new drawing over the old low resolution. Do that in Photoshop, Illustrator or Corel Draw, using Vector tools. You can then scale the new drawing up without loosing quality.

                          Cheers.
