Italeri Panther Ausf A Model, Any comments

Hello All,

I've just started building this kit and aside form what seems to be the usual issue with Italeri kits I have to say I was very impressed with the amount of detail on offer in such a cheap model.

Has anyone else built this product and if so what do you think of it?

Hey, I built the same one!
I like the way it comes with alternative parts to give it a zimmerit coated look or not.
However, on the model I built the back of the tuuret did not fit exactly right with the turret sides and required some "modifications". It turned out ok though But, I always find the panther abit boring looking, it's a handsome panzer don't get me wrong But, I'll take a late PZIV over it anyday

Especially if you make look "Used hard and put away wet" all beat up and scruffy looking

Hmm I can't say I've heard that one before Laurence, although it seems better suited to describing things other than tanks if you get my drift or maybe that's just my dirty mind getting away on me.

Your right, I modified it to fit my response. It is usually used where your mind is
