Great clip. I was amazed how fast those things moved. For some reason I always imagined them moving slowly along but those guys were running to keep up with it.

Wouldnt the Goliath also need a large antenna on it? For it to be radio controlled
All the pics and info ive seen they have the reel of cable in the rear 650m.
but i havnt seen everything so could be wrong

                      i believe it was the
                      Sd.Kfz. 304 Mittleres Ladungsträger "Springer"
It could take 300kg explosives; the driver drove the vehicle to the neighborhood of the targer. From there it was guided to the actual target using a Blaupunkt radio control.

If I remember correctly, the Goliath wasn't effective since the enemy often saw it coming and had it blown up before reaching its target. But still, it was a remarkable piece of RC (possibly one of the first)

these were run by both wire and remote controlled. they the remote controlled one's had no antenna due to their short range they were used in. I have somewhere in one of my book's of a account of one being used aganist the USA forces and these were knocked out way before they reached the target.

so the german's stopped using them due to their easy knock out rate. (from what i have read)
