I always consider this type of paper (as well as all the SS stuff) as fake, unless there is strong evidence of the authenticity.

In this case, what is the origin of the paper ? Well known family member, friend, militaria dealer,...

I don't necessarily have a problem with it. However, I'd like to see the unit listed under his name and a better view of the 7. PD stamp. Can you post more images?

From what I can see, this group is fine. I trust the EK doc, but caveat my approval with the fact that better images are needed. Too bad the PAB doc is missing.

And, this type of query is best for the Paper forum.

At first look & instinct it looks very very similar to Rommels signature, I would say its genuine.

This looks good to me as well, he signed many of the award documents for his men after the French campaign. I missed a large grouping for an Lt. several years ago at a shop here and the award document was the same date as the first one here and if I remember correctly in the same pencil ? or color pen as the one above.

Both signatures look different to me, but I know that after signing so many papers that the signatures due change.

here are a couple of signatures that I have and the one on the EKII document looks ok but this must be inspected in detail to determine originality
