I believe this is a bag for the two day tank crew candy ration. U.S. Intelligence reports show that the ration was packed inside a kraft paper bag. Maybe this was an alternative method of packaging. Not sure how strong the bag you show is. Infantry units were issued a similar bag that contained two pieces of knackebrot. That particular bag was very thin and tore easily. Anyway Volume II of the book Rations of the German Wehrmacht in WWII gives detailed information about the Panzer Candy Rations. Jim
