Incredible indeed, it is extremely rare to see vehicles that still have their original paint. I hope it is preserved as such and does not becomes someones retauration/repaint projet, or that it is not driven around which will only cause damage on the long term.

I can't imagine that someone would buy this one to do that with.

Although I've seen crazier things.

I wonder how much it will go for? Any estimates?

What a fantastic example of an early Kubel. I love it the way it is and it's an important part of US Military history. I certainly hope that whoever buys it has the foresight to leave it as it is.

No doubt it was used for a war bonds drive in the States during the war!

Right up my ally, but way out of my funding range.
So few vehicles retain original wartime paint, this one is truly fantastic.
I can only hope whoever winds up with it appreciates what they have...

...and especially all the writing make it a unique piece of history! Most of this "trohpy stuff" ended up on the scrap heap after its duty was done so this might be a very lonely survivor of its kind...
