Real value all Kettenkrad in perfect condition is maximum 30.000 euro
- all these today market prices are extremely overvalued and prices in the type 100.000 euro is realy cosmic price !!! People stop to buy this scrap it for that much money and prices will return to the old normal levels ! most from kettenkrad offered for sale in recent years these are mere replicas! where the original German from kettenkrad war parts is about 15 - 20 % in vehicle and the rest parts in this is are modern replicas manufactured components and assemblies or they are part of the post-war tractors such as this

the real price is what someone or anyone is willing to pay.
if you think that is what it is worth to you then that is your market price but today you could not buy one for what you feel is the right price.
I understand what you are trying to say - they are too expensive and they are not worth the money but if you have one and want to sell one then this is what you can expect to ask for it and not look silly.
I own one and i do not understand why the prices have been so over inflated over the years.
What you actually get for your money is not very much as it is so small.
as for parts and non original vehicles well that is a whole different argument.
nothing can ever be original.
they are all parts kits today - they are original hulls and running gear and tracks but everything after that can be replaced with new replica parts unless money is no object and the parts are available.
If i had all the time in the world to search for original parts and a budget and time to travel to buy these parts then i would but most people cannot afford to do that.

The main problem is in this that most kettenkrad today is bought only just because in recent times of possession Kettenkrad is fashionable ! It is bought by wealthy people - these people have no idea about its history or its construction - this purchase is just the whim for them! but due to overvalued and inflated up prices true collectors have long since they can not afford to buy Kettenkrad.
probably If buyer will be knew from what it was made Kettenkrad on sale he would lost interest to buy it - because most is reconstructed with just anything, and anyhow only for sale .People are not aware that they are buying almost fake vehicle which looks like original ! and pay for it cosmic price !Comment

About 15 Years ago I spent a lot of money for my business, so I didn't had the money when I got offered fully restored one with "TÜV" and Public Roads Permission for 8.500 Marks, what would be half of it in Euros.
