    Panther drive sprocket.

Ok here goes, i want to build a panther drive sprocket for display purposes of tracks.
First out of wood and then maybe a steel one later on.
Problems is that i cant really find any good info or drawings,
Been looking abit at the heng long 1:16 for reference, but is it accurate ?
And if it is, what about the normal connection on the real thing ? on the heng long its just a piece of D formed metal...

    Drawings ? pictures or info
    Any help appreciated

    Panther Drive sprocket

This might help...."Achtung Panzer" book #4, page 53 has a Russian drawing that shows dimensions and cross section view. If you can't locate that, let me know, and perhaps I can send you accurate dimensions that I used to construct a 1/6 operating sprocket that works with an accurate 1/6 track link that I made using dimensions off a 1/1 scale Panther track link.

    Good Luck,
    Jack

      Look at this thread:

And ask carfin lewys - he has made one out of wood for his Jadgpanther replica.
