could you post a few link to these vehicles that are less money and on the button please- it would help the chap who wants to buy one and others that may be interested in buying one.

here is one for $60,000 http://www.thesamba.com/vw/classifie...php?id=1120267 that is about £40,000 so it makes £32k look reasonable

i also believe drews kubel will be on the button as well

over the past 6 months thers have been a few on mill web for around this price and finished as this needs a new floor ( body off to do this ) and the brakes are not installed pluss a lot of work i dont think this price is a good one and how do you know this will be a good one ? and on the button it is being sold as is not a finished Kubel normally unfinished projects have a reason why they are unfinished

                          Kubel prices.

Cripes it seems like only yesterday you pick up one of these cars for about five or six grand! Now they certainly fetch a lot of money, the price seems to rising faster than the R75 and KS750 bikes a machime I should have bought instead of the Kubel I had, sigh!

yes i have and wonder why he has rebuilt the body and bolted it on a unrestored axle and rotten floorpan ? have been told he has made a mistake when rebuilding the body and got the size wrong

we can all make mistakes when doing this sort of stuff, i have and i have learnt from it.

do you have a kubel you have restored or a schwimmer or a kettenkrad or a jeep.

                              everything is a learning curve
