But it's also stated as original and I have my doubts, especially when items like this appear on E-bay.

A gearbox is something else than a helmet or uniform...

I don't think it is made in Pakistan.

It is nearly impossible to make such thing completely new.
              But possible.

I have seen the pictures before – this gearbox was offered to ”you know who” some time ago and that offer was used as “evidence” during the Swedish court case to “prove” that a KT gearbox could not be as valuable as the Swedish Army Museum claimed.

Now it is for sale for a lot more than the “proven” value…

After having seen what happened to the Swedish KT-gearbox I do not trust anyone selling rare items such as this.

It is probably an original gearbox - but who is the seller - the the rightful owner? - do not think so...

Maybe we can sent the seller an e-mail and ask the source of this gearbox.
Where the hell did it came from ? Or ask if he can send some more pictures.

He has 100 % positive selling. 252 selling transactions.
Well shall we all investigate this ?

Also somebody put it here: http://www.pathfinderonline.co.uk/ar...earbox-on-ebay

Yeah, it does. There a good photo here of the drivetrain of a King Tiger:

                      There's no doubt it's genuine.

                        Swedish KT court case

The verdict in the Swedish KT court case that was appealed to the next level. The new verdict was set last Friday.

The former manager of the Tank Msseum was acquitted while the borrower's punishment (8 months prison) remains. The Court considers that it is proven that the borrower and the purchaser had been agreed on the deal long before the loan contract with the museum was written.
