    I take pictures with tigers

In the outskirts of Moscow, I visited the German Tiger tank, a wounded tiger, which is the SS Das Reich tank. The tanks killed a six enemy tanks, barrel says it all! Let us pay tribute to the tiger, it was so powerful and deadly enemy!

its a shame that this rare vehicle has its place exposed outside

German Panzermuseum would do everything to obtain a Tiger I (there exist no Tiger I anymore in Germany).

                Tiger I

                Hi

This is the Tiger I in Snergiri, it was a former hard target from a russian range
the original barrel was chopped of, now it has a replica barrel and a bad replicated muzzle

there is a Tiger I in Germany ( private collection) but still in bitts and pieces

                ciao

Are you sure its a Tiger 1. As far as I (and all of my friends within the Panzermuseum) know there are only 6 Tiger 1 left in the world:
                  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tiger_I#Survivors

Here in Germany we have given up the hope to find a original Tiger 1. At the moment a project is raised to built a 1:1 model.

yes I am sure its a Tiger I....but it is in bitts and pieces in a private collection in Frankfurt
check the last item in the list " panzer big parts"
                    http://the.shadock.free.fr/Surviving_Panzers.html

A replica Tiger I is also present in Germany (also private collection and almost complete) namely the Kurland Tiger ...various youtube clips are available...just hit "Kurland Tiger"

Is the panzermuseum really going to built a replica Tiger I ....as they did with the A7V?

                    ciao

Yes, but such a project need a huge amount of money. As far as I know the A7V project has cost several million DM.

I have meant intact vehicles. Your Tigers are only parts of wracks.
