Please identify those troops for me.

Hello,

I was wondering if somebody could identify these soldiers for me. I'm not familiar with uniforms and tanks but this picture is of great interest for me because of the P38 shoulder holsters and lanyards that are used. Are these guys Germans?

These pictures were probably taken postwar but I'm no really sure. I hope I posted this thread in the right section.

I can tell you the tank is an M41 Walker Bulldog but that about it.

The troop are strange, could they be very early West German?

My immediate reaction was that they are Re-enactors

Camo looks like post war Austrian Army to me.

I agree, the uniform and camo pattern along with the hats appear to be early Austrian Bundesherr. What appears to be French sub-machine gun confused me but the Austrians apparently used them in their Tanks.

Looks like an Mp40 to me..which could confirm Austrian early post war.
