I've noticed the lack of King Tiger or Tiger II reproductions. I searched the net & found none either? I see lots of various efforts based of surplus tanks, but never a king tiger. Any ideas why?....or am i not looking hard enuff??

The Tiger was the big baddie of WW2 that freaked so many out, though the Tiger 2 was heavier and all that. Just like "every gun was an 88" type of thing.Comment

One of the biggest problems is to get a doner vehicle to build the King Tiger on , unlike the copy Tiger 1 that are out there , the building of a King Tiger is more complex . Hopefully in time we might get to see one on the reenacting scene .Comment

The sheer size of the thing makes it very expensive and intricate to build. Try getting an engine to power a repro, even with light materials it would weigh heavily because of its size.Comment
