    Camouflaged Head light ID

    Hi guys,
I was wondering, on which vehicles was this nice camo'd head light housing fitted? It has a nice two tone camouflage paint, over the original tan ordnance paint. Maybe a Panther tank (it's looks like a compareble light housing).

    Thanks in advance!

Depending on size and design this should be the housing of an headlamp used on many types of wheeled vehicles ... staff cars, trucks or even halftracks, but not for tanks. But anyway: nice piece of original colored metal !

Here is a pic of a typical tank lamp. I think yours is more likely to be a car or truck one as Asbjoern suggests.
It is a nice piece all the same.

I did some new search, and IMO it could be from a Opel Blitz? Can't find a very sharp detail shot of the headlight, so i'm not sure.

It may be from an Opel ...but these parts were standardized so it also could be from a 3ton Ford or a Mercedes or even a Kübelwagen ... the headlights are al very much the same with only a little variation from different manufacturers and from the time they were made ...
