Wanted - Panzer IV road wheels and Idlers

Goodaye - looking for a set of Panzer IV road wheels - in an attempt to fabricate them. Does anyone know of any - or anyone who is making them for restoration projects etc? I am looking into making a reproduction Panzer IV. Getting real components to copy and fabricate.

    Cheers

      Hi

interesting project you have there !
But how are you planning to get all that heavy hardware downunder and back?
I guess you'll pay an awfull lot on postage and shipping.

What is your total budget you are willing to through in for this project?
and how long will it take for you to roll out that panzer IV replica out of your workshop

      ciao

I think he made a type error. The mail need .com at the end and not
        .om Home this will help..

Mmmhhh domain bigpondc.com do not exist .... This guy makes more type errors then the .com
Strange .... My advise will not help you ...

Are there any museums who would allow you to copy one of theirs. They might like to have a sample that you make in trade?

              Update On Project

Goodaye Team - sorry for the typo in my email - its DJGlen@bigpond.com

So far I've managed to source brand new engineered Panzer IV tracks from Germany, I have two of the type of return rollers, a suspension arm bumper (stop) along with all the appropriate radios. My intention is to find a donor vehicle in the UK and ship it to Australia. Likely to be an Abbot - to enable me to access the turret ring and that particular mechanism. If anyone has parts - real or repro - or plans - please let me know. Happy to pay reasonsable prices for bits and pieces.

              All the best.

Did you see this thread with the PzIV? Talk to the guys who built it?

                    Panzer IV

                    Hi

The latest real Panzer IV that was restored in the UK for the King of Jordan had some newly fabricated components too ....especially for the running gear, like new rubber rims and newly made boogies.

replica tracks have been made in the UK and Germany

do you already have something constructed to show us ?

                    ciao
