Anybody in touch with the Wheatcroft collection and / or the Research Squad ?

Since mister W. is working on his S boat the a veil of silence is around his land bound collection.... the webpage rests in peace and nothing is to be seen in the web looking like progress on his panther (-s) or other of his ambitiouse projekts. O.K. its clear that the boat project is a little bit expensive....so I would not wonder if progress on the "cars" is slower then before, but if these are complete stopped would make me wonder....

And the research squad...they started with great ambition, the first book was really nice to look at, the second and the third book where announced fast...but nothing happened since then. Their page still says "book #2 will be avaiable in 2009" ....

So it would be very much appreciated if some news pop up....

I was told that this years Bovington Tank Fest, will be the first outing for Mr W Panther. So by that it must be close if not finished.

the hull looked fantastic

O.k., at least some info on Panther #1... but how about the other projects? Two years ago it was said that project Panther #2 is also started and that they soon wanted to start on the Tiger hull...
Any news on these toys ?
And anything on the Research Squad and their books ??
