Panzer Headphones..... Opions please

Hi all,

just got this off E-Stand and a little concerned that part of the headphones has been 'redone' post war with modern parts. Please see picks. I'll include pics of a pair I just sold myself and you'll see what I'm talking about.

these screws look more modern to me. The otehr ones on the same style headphones have the more rounded head ones.

Also the base plate and the "U" shaped bracket screwed to it is different to the other one....

The first one is a modification for post-war use by the French. Replaced with cords with black flecks and different socket, the housing for the electro-magnets are re-sprayed in black to conceal German stamps and reassembled using a flat-headed screw. I saw many of these on the market in early 2003 and have one myself.

As I suspected. Just got these off E-Stand so back the seller they go.
