It's a 'M8 Greyhound' (used by British and American forces during ww2)

Build by Ford. First production in 1943 and build till 1945. An total off 8634 examples are made.

They mounted a 37mm cannon and a few were captured in North Africa and sent back to Germany. Doug Champlin had one in his fighter museum in Arizona that had German data plates so it was used towards the end of the war by the Germans.
