Very nice modified boards, they look fine to me. They have age going for them and do not look like something someone did recently. Thanks for sharing,

In my opinion too these boards were modified in time.

It is also not unusual to find modified insignia and I think the boards look good also. I have seen a number of boards collar tabs and hats which have been modified. In some cases the piping is re-colored (easiest from white) to the new Waffenfarbe.
