I have been trying to find some pics of the HG in action during the recapture of Bautzen, of which there are not many.

Here, however, is an HG sniper team in Bautzen after its recapture:

Thank the internet (including WAF) and the real owners. Stonemint uses them without any permission from the owners or doesn't even take the time to do so. Sad.

I don't see your problem!! Would you please be so kind and take this sort of comments elsewhere and not in this thread.

First of all, I guess Stonemint found this one on the web. A free digital world for every living being!! And second of all, if the owners of the pictures don't want that other people use their pictures, they should mark them!

How did Rossmann earn his RK?

                  Cheers

Atleast have the decency to mention the source.. That still does not mean you can use someone's pictures without permission or atleast mentioning the source. He also used pictures from WAF users and people complained. If something is not yours, it is much more friendly to mention it otherwise it is like stealing - that's the point.

                      Bautzen 1945

                      Hi,
Attached is a photo from a late neighbour of mine, she lived in Bishofswerde and used to travel the 20 km by train to Bautzen each day for schooling in later 1945.
She always said it was difficult to get out of the rail station (Haumptbahnhof) because of all the old war vehicles parked outside, the photo shows she was right about that.

One PzIV and a load of Soviet armour.

                      cheers lennard

Yes, the pics are public domain, and I am posting them for the education of our members and in the hope that perhaps more will have information on Rossmann or Bautzen. (watermark shows the source).

Although the battle had been won, nothing but abject resignation in the faces of these HG men:

(Note the HG leather wrapper in the background and the Heer M-38 overseas cap worn by the HG Pz officer in foreground):

Same HG officer in vehicle. Em/NCO wearing the wrapper has what appears to be a Danziger traditions badge on his M-43:

Last one--looks like an HG Mk IV:

These photo also appears in the wonderful book "Endkampf" by Axel Urbanke, which I highly recommend. Note the strange elongated tabs on the officer, who also has a Heer eagle on his wrapper. Because the book also has photos of GD personnel, you need to look at the photos very carefully to make sure who is really HG (and who is not). The officer appears to have an HG cufftitle, and also appears to have a LW eagle on his cap, but it may be people from GD and HG mixed together at times.
