    I have just got a new album which contains pics of the invasion of france and then dunkirk, in it are a few tank pics any id help would be great, some look ww1 type, cheers Dave

              Hi Dave

              Ok will take a shot at it, first post is a classic look at the WW1 English MBT. #2 post still working on that one..... ? #3 looks like a French Renault to me. ? #4-5 are Char B French WWII MBT with 75mm hull gun etc. #6 is PzKw IVb or c varient, don't have my books with me here yet. some great photos though.

                  spot on with this one wonder why the ww1 tank is there.can only think it was puged up by the french after ww1 and rushed into service during the invasion.

                      You see also those WWI-tanks on the the early stages of the invasion of russia, pulled out of museums, and brought back to (short) live and battle against the germans.
