Herr von Meyer is still alive, he lives somewhere in South America.

I like th button down collar on the shirt, and the wear on the IC1...was it common to repaint a cross with wear on the black section , as i notice the one shot is the only one with the wear on the IC1.Also the German cross in bullion and cloth is great. Wich ss division was this pzr company attached to ? 2nd SS ..das reich? or? He must have gone to russia, but he may have been in italy as the shirt looks tropical. Can anyone help me out on this ? Looks like fencing wounds on his face.

Juoneen, Kuno von Meyer was not Waffen SS but with the 24th Panzer Division. I am not sure as to how he was wounded but can ask as I will be at the 24th Pz Rgt meeting in May of this year (possibly the last as fewer and fewer can come).
