well I spoke to him yesterday evening and what a nice bloke he is.

I invited him to do an evening talk for us at our local museum in April/May and he telephoned me and agreed.

I will post the actual date on here So anyone in the Northampton (England) area around then please come to the talk

Hi Philip,

I haven't met Joe Ekins but I have met some of the Veterans who fought with him at St.Aignan, most notably Ken Tout, who I regularily corrsepond with.

Could you find out if he will be at St.Aignan with the other Veterans for the ceremony on Augist 8th this year? I would like to meet him, last year chatting with the veterans on the Battlefield where Wittman was kiiled was quite an experience.
