    philip's kettenkrad camo paint

Here are some pictures I took last saturday of my kettenkrad.

I had just taken it for a drive across the airfield, through mud and water which splattered up the sides of the hull

The paint on my kettenkrad is gloss so i can keep it relatively clean, where the muddy water has stuck to the sides it has toned down the paint really well

am now seriously considering throwing a bucket of muddy water over it

That is NOT me driving it.............everyone wants to have a go..........thing it they don't realise it could kill them if they turn too fast

      Hello.

Could you answer some questions about Ketten.

      1. At what angle of the handle bar' turning the "Lenkbremsen" of this vehicle begin to brake? Immediately, or there is a "dead area" where the turning is making only by the front wheel, not by the "Lenkbremsen".
      2. This brakes are blocking instantly, or there is a period of transition when the "Lenkbremse" is braking partially.'

      Thank you!

just taking a quick look in the manual it shows 7cm of movement at the end of the handlebars before the steering brakes begin to take effect.

This can be adjusted by tightening the wing nut on the steering arm.

the front wheel does steer when at speed but it is only limited.

        hope that helps

        regards

I believe that angle is 12 degrees , this allows a difference between high spped and low speed turning
