Here's an interesting image (credited as tagged) showing a ex-Russian
"Lend-Lease" US built halftrack now in German service.
Image taken August 1944 on the Wilna Front (Vilnius, Lithuania).
Note the gun!!! German used as panzer jaeger!

Thanks for the info. I researched it further, indeed a US made unit, not a conversion. These became obsolete and were sold to the Russians...so here German captured...

T48 GMC:
The T48 Armed with a 57mm M1 Anti-Tank Gun (a licence produced copy of the British 6-pounder) was intended to be issued to the British and Commonwealth forces since the M10 had been designed to replace the M3 GMC used by American Tank Destroyer units. Production commenced in April 1942 and ceased early in 1943. A total of 962 were produced, with 680 being transfered to the British Army. However both the Americans and the British converted most of their remaining T48's into standard M3 Halftracks, however before the British converted their T48's many were shipped to the Soviet Union, where they were operated by Independent Tank Destroyer Brigades.
