    hello nebelwerfer

could you make a pic of the "leeping horse logo" and the word Continental please.
does it look original to you or are there any odd weld seems ?

the way it looks doens't correspond to any wartime wheel to me...
not from a panzer nor from a halftrack
    maybe its postwar German ????

      Hi,

theel wheel was found in the woods by me 15 years ago in Munster - Lüneburger Heide, Germany, there were Germans since 1893, an after WW2 there were German and british troops. The wheel is original, but nowbody knows the use of it. Could be after WW2. I try to make a better pic from the horse.

      Thank you

        strange wheel

        Hi

        thanks for the extra pics

Well the letter script used for the rubber rim is different from the script that was used during WW II, so I very much tend to believe its a postwar wheel.

Sofar I haven't figured out from what vehicle
what kind of vehicles did the BW have in the early stages?
Hotchkiss, JPK, HS 30, Leopard, Gepard, M48 Patton, Marder......
        sofar I haven't found a match.
It can be a roadwheel or an idlerwheel ?

        ciao
