Here is a photo of the Fu.5/Fu.2 radio system. This was my part of the project. The radios and intercom work just like they did in 1944/45. We tested communications on Thursday with the engine running, and the filters did their job. Noise could be heard, but it did not interfere with radio communications.

My hats off to the Littlefield team. Absolutely breath taking work. If only the US Army paid this much attention to the Aberdeen collection. If I had to pick a dream job, it would be restoring tanks to the high level that you all do.

                Cheers

We will stay with the tan color.

Actually, this was my mistaken assumption. The Panther WILL be painted a nice camo colour.

                          Great job !!!

Is the turret ready are still some work to do ?

I only dont see The tube feeding to the ventilation housing on the upper deck
where it will connect to the ventilation fan motor.

And there is no TZF-12a ? Did you already find one ?
the radio looks really cool, and working condition great job !!!

But a really fine job on this panther !!! Wish other panthers in Belgium would be saved to...

The tube will be installed shortly. The TZF-12a is there, but cannot be seen because of the recoil guard.

                              Yuri,

I suppose that the TZF-12a is the one which was for sale at Ciney, Belgium, some months ago :

Would it be possible to have a recent picture of the entire hull, which is now equipped with the tracks? A front-left or front-right picture would be nice. I only found on the internet "old" pictures of the entire hull when it didn't have the tracks.

                              thanks in advance

                              Pierre-Olivier

I am not sure exactly where the sight came from. I will post more photos of the hull next week, but for now, here are a few snaps from November:
